Pubudu Dassanayake Appointed Head Coach of Janakpur Bolts for Nepal Premier League 2024

Former Nepal national cricket team coach, Pubudu Dassanayake, has been appointed as the head coach of Janakpur Bolts for the 2024 Nepal Premier League (NPL). Dassanayake, who led Nepal to their first-ever T20 World Cup appearance in 2014, brings a wealth of experience to the role.

A former international cricketer, Dassanayake represented Sri Lanka in 11 Tests and 16 One Day Internationals (ODIs). Throughout his career, he also played for Canada and coached various teams, including the Everest Premier League side Bhairahawa Gladiators, as well as the national teams of Nepal, the United States, and Canada. Dassanayake made his international debut for Canada during the 2005 ICC Trophy.
