Hey there, cricket lovers!
We’re a small group of cricket fanatics who eat, sleep, and breathe Nepali cricket. Nepal.al is our little corner of the internet where we geek out about all things Nepal Premier League. None of us are professional journalists – just passionate fans who love talking about cricket!
Why We Started This Blog
When NPL was announced, we found ourselves constantly chatting about cricket over coke and momos. We couldn’t find enough content about our domestic cricket scene, so we thought, “Why not write about it ourselves?” That’s how Nepal.al was born! While we’re not officially connected to NPL or any cricket organization (just to be clear!), we’re here because we absolutely love the game and want to share that passion with fellow fans.
What You’ll Find Here
- Match updates (when we can catch the games!)
- Our takes on player performances
- Cool stories about emerging players
- Stats and analysis (we’re a bit nerdy about numbers 😅)
- Photos from matches we attend
- Random cricket thoughts and discussions
About Us
We’re just your average cricket enthusiasts who spend way too much time thinking about Nepal’s cricket future. By day, we’re regular folks with regular jobs, but by evening (and pretty much all weekend), we’re glued to cricket matches and writing about it here. Our team consists of college friends who share an unhealthy obsession with cricket statistics and a tendency to debate about bowling strategies until midnight.

A Bit About Nepal Premier League
For those new here – NPL is Nepal’s exciting T20 cricket league that kicked off in 2024. It’s our answer to the big T20 leagues around the world, but with our own Nepali flavor! The league features teams from different parts of Nepal, mixing our local talent with some international players.
What makes NPL special? It’s not just about cricket – it’s about seeing our own players become heroes, watching young talents emerge, and feeling that electric atmosphere in our stadiums. Sure, it might not be as flashy as the IPL or BBL (yet!), but it’s ours, and it’s growing!
Quick Note
Everything on this blog comes from our perspective as fans. While we try to get our facts right, we might make mistakes sometimes. Feel free to correct us – we’re all here to learn and share our love for Nepali cricket!
