Prohibited Content
In addition to the general community rules above, the following categories of content are strictly prohibited on Nepal.al:
Any content that promotes, glorifies, facilitates, or normalises activities that are illegal under the laws of Nepal or internationally will be removed and may result in immediate account suspension.
Specifically, users must not post, share, or link to content relating to:
- Drug abuse: Promotion, sale, glorification, or instruction related to illegal narcotics, controlled substances, or substance abuse — including content that encourages or trivialises drug use in any form
- Violence: Content that incites, glorifies, or instructs violence against any person, group, or community — including graphic violent imagery, threats, or calls for physical harm
- Gambling & betting: Promotion of, or participation in, online or offline gambling, sports betting, casino activity, or any other wagering that is illegal under Nepali law. This includes links or referrals to betting platforms, apps, or services
- Illegal activities generally: Any content that facilitates, promotes, or instructs activities that are illegal under Nepalese law or widely applicable international law — including but not limited to fraud, trafficking, money laundering, or the sale of prohibited goods and services
- Illegal financial schemes: Pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, unlicensed investment solicitation, or any other financially fraudulent activity
Nepal.al is intended as a constructive knowledge platform. Content that endangers individuals or communities, or that undermines public safety and the rule of law in Nepal, has no place here.
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you post on Nepal.al. However, by submitting questions, answers, or comments, you grant Nepal.al a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and archive your content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.
You confirm that any content you post is your own or that you have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
Accuracy of Information
Nepal.al is a community platform. While our editors strive to ensure quality, answers provided by community members represent personal opinions or knowledge and should not be treated as professional advice — legal, medical, financial, or otherwise.
For critical decisions, always verify information with authoritative and professional sources. Nepal.al is not liable for any loss or harm arising from reliance on user-generated content.
Moderation
Nepal.al is moderated by a team of editors. We reserve the right to remove, edit, or hide any content that violates these terms or that we deem inappropriate for the community, without prior notice.
Users can report content they believe violates our community rules using the report function on any post. We take all reports seriously and aim to act promptly. Repeated violations — including posting prohibited content as described in Section 6 — will result in permanent removal from the platform.
Limitation of Liability
Nepal.al is provided “as is.” We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the platform or its content. We are not responsible for:
- Inaccurate or outdated information posted by users
- Any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform
- Temporary unavailability of the service due to maintenance or technical issues
- Content or links posted by third parties
- Any harm resulting from user-posted content that violates these terms before it is removed by our moderation team
